WIP...
This will be a baby unicorn. I started it yesterday. Kinda' scary, because when I get this far the first day, it means my regular business has no business! Everything is slowing down! Any suggestion...I sort of would like to sculpt the mane and forelock but then I was also thinking about angora goat hair!? Any thoughts???
Me too... you dream about touchiing them, I'm thinking I might have to do the angora hair. Did you ever see Legend? The unicorns in that movie looked so real.
What a sweet face- perfect for a unicorn! Legend was a great movie! and I think you are spot on with the angora hair- maybe with a light spraying of microdust glitter for that magical effect... hmmm- I can't wait to see what you do with her- I just know she will be stunning! :o)
you're soooo spot on! you've captured that gentle spirit that I associate with uni's ... AND the innocence of a babe ... WELL DONE!
I'm thinking I'd really like to see what you can do with the angora hair ... could make this one really spectacular.
oh ... and I get the feeling that the universe really wants you creating your amazing sculptures ... here's hoping it proves this true by providing 20 commission pieces in the next month alone!!
Wow Michelle, I'm afraid that would do me in! But thank you for the wish. I like the idea of the angora hair too, Now I need to find some! I think his ears might be a little too big but if the angora hair turns out it will be fine! Thanx again for the kind thoughts! Hugs, Misty

I am a retired musician and a barber. I run a shop called Sweeney's in Tucson, with my youngest daughter, and my oldest daughter is a radiology tech assitant and dance teacher! I played music 5 nights a week for 20 years with my husband and step-son, and now I have time for my art! Hope you enjoy it!

Fairground horses are lovely and they have solid manes but somehow I always think of unicorns as having long flowing manes...
