This is a photo of my youngest daughter and her cat. She was peeling potatoes at her kitchen table and the cat was perched on the top of the booth behind her, just watching. I said "Hey!' and that's the picture I got. I find it...strangely unnerving!

"Smoky"

Here's a painting I did a few years ago. His name is "Smoky". I gave him to a long time friend of mine for a gift. She is an obsessive cat lover. I aways mean to paint more cats, but I'm a dog person and cats know this. I will try and find a photo I took of my youngest daughter and "familar" or cat as some people call it. But I think there's more than just a cat... in there... judge for yourself!

How cool is this... my friend at: Opps! Desperate Blogger, bestowed upon me this wonderful award. It's a true honor. Plus it looks great! Cindy was the first person to say hello to me when I was a baby blogger (I'm only a toddler right now) afraid to talk to anyone! Thank you so much, I will pass this on to a blog which I believe is amazing! I love that ear...I use straight razors around ears all day, and I have yet to cut one off...but...tomorrow is another day!!!

Bic lighter cases...

I have been working on these Bic cases, They are nicly portable If I have to wait somewhere I can take it out of my bag and almost doodle! I have been busy with family things and work of late so my blog has suffered a bit. This weekend I've set aside some time for me and that means I can visit all my wonderful friends right here!

This is the other wall in that same shop, it was getting a little small for us and the creatures!

Here are a before pic of the shop I had for the last 7 yrs. My daughters and I took up old tile, built a wall to cover plumbing and made it purdy! It was labor intensive!!!
My daughter asked me if I would still run my barber shop if I won the lottery. When she asked me no one was in the shop and as she waited for my answer, she (I guess) saw the look on my face...she said "No way, you've got to be kidding, you wouldn't just quite and do you art?" I told her I'd hate to see my customer's freak out, having to find a new Barber! I'd probably work at least three days a week. She thinks I'm nuts!!! But...you know, I have three customers that have been with me for 32 years, you can't just stop, unless you're dead! At least then I'd have a good excuse for not showing up!
"KIDS!" Hmmmmmmm!
