Think a head...
I had to dremel a place for the ears to attach, because I forgot! So I made the holes, then added clay to tighten them up. Then after it's shipped my client will insert the ears with some epoxy and...TA DA... will happen. Keeps the ears safer in shipping too! At least that's the plan. It worked with the green one so I'm going to try it again! The bad thing is, If I have time to do art work in the day time...it means my Barber Shop is slow! It's a bit bitter sweet.
Thanks Misty. I'm making a goose for a Mother Goose. This is the first I've really tried paper clay. I like it but it is of course so different than polymer. Learning as I go, and I am using Das!
Many of the sculptures and art pieces on this blog have been sold...but many are still available for purchase! Please leave me a comment or e-mail at mystapring@Yahoo.com if interested in purchaseing.

I have three blogs, one is for my dragons that I make from air dry clay. The other is for my other art... what ever I am into at the time. And the third is for some of my poetry. A friend of mine (Ros, you know who you are) ispired me to post my writings.
I am a retired musician and a barber. I run a shop called Sweeney's in Tucson, with my youngest daughter, and my oldest daughter is a radiology tech assitant and dance teacher! I played music 5 nights a week for 20 years with my husband and step-son, and now I have time for my art! Hope you enjoy it!

It is bitter sweet! What kind of paper clay do you use Misty? Can't wait to see this one done!
Cindy,
I use DAS clay, I've tried a couple and it seems to work best for me!

Sounds like really good planning to me. I love being able to see the steps you take from beginning to end - the whole process is so interesting.
