My strange Daughters!

This was taken after we came from the movie theater...we saw "New Moon"! Dawn dressed as Victoria and Shannon was just ready to get in her car and go home, but...she did like the movie! So did I!

I know this time of the year is rough on everyone, we're supposed to do what the media tells us to do. When it's all said and done, my favorite time is Christmas Night when I can put my feet up and reflect on the craziness...have grand one, what ever it is.
P.S. My daughter and I went to see Avatar yesterday...May I say first of all, "Wow, a feast for the eyes, and it harbours my general beliefs about mother earth. Beautiful go see it!"

web sight...

Soon I will be establishing a web sight. It will be for the art I do for myself! I will as time goes by have a stable full of my dragons. Much like buying a horse, the patron can go through what's available in the stable or hatchery, (if you would) and pick a dragon from what is available. I have a buyer in the New York area, I will (hopefully) be doing some commissioned pieces for them. But otherwise, the dragons will be chosen from the shelves!

Gilles Marini...

Something different! My daughter and I went to a show the other night and this is who was there. What a handsome, gracious man. I unfortunately have a new camera quite different from the old one. My daughter had changed the setting and I stupidly didn't check it before taking the "all important photo"! If you know my oldest daughter Dawn, you would know this is she and the delicious Gilles.
"sex in the city (movie)" Dancing with the stars, and Brothers and Sisters! When I got ready to take the picture, I said to Gilles, "I'm taking the picture, I'm her mother!" He looked at me and in a silky voice he replied, "I don't believe that!".................(did I mention he is "French"?} Smooooth!

Note to self... Always check your camera settings...before taking the picture!

My baby dragon will be moving to a new home Monday...must get busy and make some new stuff. It's a good feeling to sell things but I'll miss this little guy! I believe he was my only ever...blue eyed dragon!

WIP

This is a painting in progress that I am doing for my youngest daughter...sounds like it would be Disney but she's 34 and likes Vampires, this is Bram Stoker's Dracula, Gary Oldman in the character, or better known as Serious Black in some circles! This is a creepy, scary vampire. But...he's not finished tweaking to be done. The hands aren't done yet most of the areas in white are unfinished. Just thought I'd stick it on here for something to do.

My Time's a Dragon is almost finished. This weekend I will put a coat of Envirotex on him or her and off it will go into the enchanted and wondrous land of E-Bay (just north of Gilder)!

Life...

I haven't done much this last few weeks. The wind has left my sails as they say. My mother passed away last Tuesday night. I have okay days and very bad days...to be fair the nights are the worst. I can't sleep. My mind won't stop thinking. It's no wonder people are driven to drink or do drugs in difficult times. The strongest thing I have in the house this evening is cough syrup. That's pitiful.
I have never been good at creating when I'm sad, I'm sure I'll get better,it's life after all, but that doesnt make it any easier!But it really is a "heart ache" it's so physical.
I do love to see what everyone else is up to, you are all so talented. I'm very blessed to have your acquaintances.

He's getting a little color!

Well I have begun painting my antlered dragon. I am still working out the colors, but the client asked for specific ones now just waiting for the dragon to let me know where they go. I primed him this morning and unfortunately...it was slow at the shop today so...I began painting. I think I am going to like him! Beware, WIP!

I'm trying to get this bad boy finished, I have had some things slow me down. It's really hard to finish a commission when you just feel like vegging in front of the TV and eating Ice cream. I am making myself get back to work. So here's what I've been doing!

My wonderful blogging friends I have forgotten my pass word which enables me to leave comments a some of your blogs. I keep getting told my name and pass word don't match. Could anyone tell me how to find out what my pass word is! I changed it due to something but I have forgotten...this is so embarrassing!
