A few of my Dragons!

I sculpt these Dragons from air dry clay and use taxidermy glass eyes and acrylic paints.

I was just talking with someone about your dragons letting her know that you do NOT use castings & that I thought you used glass eyes, but didn't even know what material you sculpt in and here you go posting this terrific slide show and that they are done in air dry clay ... it's like you knew we had questions! :) too cool.

one more - are the scales carved into the clay?

Yes, They are done when it's wet, if you're referring to the little round circles...I put each one on ...one at a time even the dots of paint! But I profess to be perfectly sane..............I'm as normal as all my friends on this wonderful blog! Aren't I???
