Finished the ears!
Interesting day today. Went to a great sale at the high school today. Got a bunch of strange stuff. Then I worked on my dragon's ears. The last two days I have been getting them to fit properly, and today I put some more detail on the ears.
He's looking...well sad, as every sad dragon should look! Misty, I've been a Deb Wood lover from way back. I used to see her nuns in gift stores and love them. her fairies are downright awe inspiring! Hey, you could do dolls! I'm sure of it. You just need a few instructions. Want a list of places to check out?
Misty, I'll put together a list ofplaces that show tutorials and also some books that I found the best for starting. You already know armatures and polymer, so you're ahed of the game really. I agreee about the soul in Deb's fairies. She is so talented. As you evolve, I can see a lot of soul there too! Oh my...little fairies on little dragons! WOOHOO!
Many of the sculptures and art pieces on this blog have been sold...but many are still available for purchase! Please leave me a comment or e-mail at mystapring@Yahoo.com if interested in purchaseing.

Don't forget..have ye a need for a dragon, I know where to get 'em! Please check out my older posts for more Dragon photos. And follow this link to my Art Gecko Studio blog, right now it has only dragons but as time goes on I will add more of my other art!
I have three blogs, one is for my dragons that I make from air dry clay. The other is for my other art... what ever I am into at the time. And the third is for some of my poetry. A friend of mine (Ros, you know who you are) ispired me to post my writings.
I am a retired musician and a barber. I run a shop called Sweeney's in Tucson, with my youngest daughter, and my oldest daughter is a radiology tech assitant and dance teacher! I played music 5 nights a week for 20 years with my husband and step-son, and now I have time for my art! Hope you enjoy it!
