You can catch fairies but ya gotta keep 'em in a jar!
Here are three fairies I have sculpted, I really enjoy these little guys. I wish I had more time to sculpt a few new ones! I'd like to learn more about creating them. I believe practice is the best way to learn.
Many of the sculptures and art pieces on this blog have been sold...but many are still available for purchase! Please leave me a comment or e-mail at mystapring@Yahoo.com if interested in purchaseing.

I have three blogs, one is for my dragons that I make from air dry clay. The other is for my other art... what ever I am into at the time. And the third is for some of my poetry. A friend of mine (Ros, you know who you are) ispired me to post my writings.
I am a retired musician and a barber. I run a shop called Sweeney's in Tucson, with my youngest daughter, and my oldest daughter is a radiology tech assitant and dance teacher! I played music 5 nights a week for 20 years with my husband and step-son, and now I have time for my art! Hope you enjoy it!

I didn't realize you are in Tucson. Love the area and envy you living there especially in the winter...we have snow and 3 degrees today. :(

love your fairies. yep, if you dont want them to get away, its best to keep them in a cage/jar.
oooh your fairies are fantastic! !!!! i hope you get around to making some more!!
A jar - of course! ... and all this time I'd been using flypaper (not very kind to the critters).
Your fairies ooze with personality!
practice, practice, practice is an often heard mantra around this house. :)
