Here's a painting I did a few years ago. His name is "Smoky". I gave him to a long time friend of mine for a gift. She is an obsessive cat lover. I aways mean to paint more cats, but I'm a dog person and cats know this. I will try and find a photo I took of my youngest daughter and "familar" or cat as some people call it. But I think there's more than just a cat... in there... judge for yourself!

"Smoky"

You are right something else there besides a cat. Looks like an old soul. Beautiful painting.
this one houses more than "just a cat", I am sure - a look in the eyes and you see. Such depth. the painting is terrific.
I usually lean towards dogs, myself(though I think I'd really like hedgehogs, too), but beside Fern the Circus Dog we do have a Sally Cat that lives with us & she knows things. lots of things. sometimes she's spooky & I'm always thankful that she likes us. :)
Awesome face on the cat, love this painting. Im more of a dog fan too. My favorite is horses though.
Okay Misty...what can't you do girl! This is adorable, and my sister-in-law would go nuts if she saw this! LOL
